FORSAIT is a multi-layered remote sensing and sensor fusion platform for agriculture, forestry and border surveillance
FORSAIT is a multi-layered remote sensing and sensor fusion platform, combining satellite and drone imagery with state-of-the art detection and analytical algorithms. The platform has applications in agriculture, forestry and border surveillance.
Currently, Falconers is developing fire intelligence functionalities to FORSAIT under the project KIK-FORSAIT, funded by the Estonian Environmental Investment Centre (KIK), which focuses on developing wildfire simulation algorithms and other fire risk mitigation functionalities within the FORSAIT platform. In the project, Falconers is partnered with the Tanzania Forestry Research Institute TAFORI. KIK-FORSAIT is a continuation of ESA BIC, where Falconers developed FORSAIT (FOrest Remote Sensing AI Twin), a system integrating Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 data for forest monitoring. The project with KIK started in July 2024 and will conclude in July 2026.
